Mrs. Stephanie Morse is a proud graduate of Splendora High School, Class of 2002. Following graduation, she earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University and began her educational career in Conroe ISD before returning home to serve the students and families of Splendora ISD.

Mrs. Morse spent ten years as a classroom teacher, teaching first, second, and third grades. She later earned her master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership and Principal Certification from Lamar University. Throughout her career in Splendora ISD, she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Instructional Specialist, Reading Specialist, Assistant Principal, and, now, proudly Principal of Timber Lakes Elementary.

Mrs. Morse believes that all students can succeed when they are provided with meaningful learning opportunities, strong support systems, and positive relationships. She is committed to fostering a campus culture where every child feels a sense of belonging, is challenged academically, and is encouraged to reach their fullest potential. Under her leadership, Timber Lakes Elementary continues to focus on academic excellence, relationship-building, and the creation of meaningful learning experiences for all students.

As both a principal and parent in Splendora ISD, Mrs. Morse values the unique partnership between schools, families, and the community. She and her husband have two daughters who attend schools in Splendora ISD. She feels honored to serve the district and community she proudly calls home and is grateful to work in a district dedicated to "Cultivating Exceptional People."

Assistant Principal

Kelli Cruz, M.Ed.

Kelli Cruz is originally from Louisiana and earned her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston–Downtown. She later earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Cruz began her career in education in 2015 and has served students and families in a variety of roles throughout her educational journey. Before becoming an Assistant Principal at Timber Lakes Elementary, she served as a classroom teacher, Dual Language teacher, and 504/RTI Coordinator in Splendora ISD.

As the wife of a proud Mexican-American family and the parent of two children who attend Splendora ISD, Cruz values bilingual education and believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and successful. She is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, and about creating a school culture where everyone feels welcome, valued, and empowered to grow. Cruz feels blessed to serve in a district that invests in people and works each day to Cultivate Exceptional People.

Instructional Coach

Lori Richardson, M.Ed.

Lori Richardson is originally from Brownwood, Texas, and earned a bachelor's and master's from Tarleton State University. 

She began her career in education in 2006 and has served students in various roles throughout her career. Before becoming an Instructional Coach at Timber Lakes Elementary, she served as a classroom teacher in grades 1st- 8th math, social studies, and reading, and as a 504/RTI Coordinator in Splendora ISD.

She strongly believes in the importance of Splendora ISD's mission and vision and is a proud parent of a Splendora student.

Instructional Coach

Casey Walulik, M.Ed.

Casey Walulik graduated from Tarkington High School in 2008 and later earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Studies from Sam Houston State University. She later earned her Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. 

Mrs. Walulik began her career as a 1st-grade teacher in Dayton ISD. During her nine years on the same campus, she served in a variety of roles, including 1st- and 2nd-grade teacher and Reading and Dyslexia Interventionist. Wanting to be closer to home, she joined Tarkington Elementary as the Reading Instructional Coach, where she served for two years. Last school year, Mrs. Walulik transitioned to Timber Lakes Elementary as the MTSS/504 Specialist. She is excited to begin her new role as the RLA/SS Instructional Coach for the upcoming school year.

Mrs. Walulik believes that building a strong foundation in reading is the key to developing lifelong learners. She is passionate about helping students become confident, capable readers by providing meaningful, engaging, and research-based literacy instruction. She believes that when students develop strong reading skills early, they gain the confidence to think critically, solve problems, and explore the world around them. Mrs. Walulik is committed to supporting both students and teachers by fostering a love of literacy, promoting high expectations, and creating learning experiences that empower every child to reach their full potential.
